Jana is a Senior Managing Director and member of the Performance practice at P&C. Jana leads our corporate restructuring and performance competency centers. She brings over 20 years of experience with domain expertise in operating model design and optimization, turnarounds, digital transformation, change management, and competitive strategy. Her industry experience includes financial services, private equity, high-tech, professional services, logistics, and aviation.
Jana began her career at General Electric where she held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility culminating in General Electric’s Corporate Development organization where she contributed to mergers and acquisitions, capability development, and transformation initiatives. From there, she held several positions with increasing responsibilities at HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland, and T5 Capital where she led corporate development functions that successfully executed many complex acquisitions and strategic divestitures in North America, Europe, Middle East, and Oceania.
In her advisory career at P&C, Jana leads strategy development, M&A efforts, acquisition integration, and other transformative engagements. In addition, she advises leadership teams and often undertakes hands-on roles, within client organizations, to rapidly execute and deliver results while building capabilities across the organization.
Examples of her work include:

Delivering a portfolio rationalization program for a $50 billion global conglomerate which included the divestiture of several non-performing businesses, the integration of two strategic acquisitions valued over $7 billion, and the implementation of a state-of-the-art shared services organization that reduced $375 million in annual costs across all businesses, and increased return on operating income from 12 to 27 percent, over a 2-year period, across all businesses.

Developing and executing targeted, strategic acquisitions of innovative technology and fashion houses to build the unique omnichannel capabilities and private-label offerings of a European luxury retailer that led to an increase in annual revenues of $55 million and substantially improved margins within one year.

Developing and managing the consolidation program of three of the largest financial services firms in the Middle East to create a combined $115 billion entity.
