Nadim Saaleh

As the Firm’s Chief Operating Officer, Nadim leads the deployment of business strategy and business operations worldwide – linking strategy, execution, accountability systems, and aligning the organization around shared objectives. He is a member of the Executive Committee, Chair of the Global Operating Committee, and Vice Chair of the Client Board of Advisors.

Nadim also spends a significant portion of his time with our clients in guiding senior client executive teams on complex operations, process transformation, and technology transformation initiatives across multiple industries including retail, manufacturing, logistics, and information technology.

Nadim’s career began with luxury retailer Holt Renfrew where he ultimately became the senior executive accountable for logistics.  His career in the retail industry culminated at global luxury retail parent company, Groupe Galeries Lafayette, where he served in senior leadership roles in logistics, operations, technology, and acquisition integration across the group’s brands in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and East Asia. 

In his advisory career at P&C, Nadim works with clients across all industries to implement and scale the solutions recommended by P&C. This includes coordinating implementation resources and efforts across P&C, client, and third-party partners to ensure overall success and realization of expected outcomes.

Examples of his work include:

  • Developing and implementing a performance improvement program for a European apparel retailer that transformed key aspects of the company’s procurement, merchandising, marketing, real estate, and store options. Delivered €105M in annual cost savings and increased shareholder value by over €2.8 billion since the start of the engagement.

  • Developing and implementing a portfolio rationalization program for a $50 billion global conglomerate that led to the divestiture of several low-potential, non-performing businesses, made two strategic acquisitions valued over $7 billion, created a state-of-the-art shared services organization that reduced $375 million in annual costs across all businesses, and increased return on operating income from 12 to 27 percent over a 2-year period across all businesses.

  • Developing and implementing an industry-leading customer service operation for a global airline that transformed the company’s existing technologies, business processes, and human capital model resulting in a 45% improvement in customer satisfaction scores and reduced costs by $85 million in one year.
