Alice Phillips

Alice Phillips is the Director of Enterprise Financial Systems at P&C Global. Residing in Toronto, Alice has amassed over 25 years of experience in the field of enterprise software application management, specifically honing her expertise in implementation, configuration, and leadership roles.

Her portfolio of responsibilities at P&C Global includes System Strategy and Evolution of the Firm’s world-class technologies, System Maintenance and Optimization, Integration and Data Management, and ongoing optimization of the Firm’s financial and workflow applications to continually improve productivity, profitability, and effective client service delivery.

Alice’s career trajectory spans across multiple esteemed organizations. She was initially employed by McKinsey, where she acted as the Enterprise Systems Implementation Manager, overseeing the implementation of vital software tools. Alice then proceeded to Skadden, where she undertook the role of Senior Systems Configuration Specialist, setting a benchmark for system optimization and configuration. Before joining P&C Global, she held the position of Director of Financial Systems at McCarthy Tétrault, where she was responsible for managing the suite of financial applications, a similar role she now performs at P&C Global.

Alice obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. She then earned her Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, giving her a unique blend of technological and managerial expertise.  In addition to her academic credentials, Alice is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT, and Certified Information Systems Auditor.

In her personal life, Alice and her husband share a love for outdoor adventure and sports, often taking their family for cycling tours and skiing trips around Canada. Alice is also an avid reader, with a particular fondness for historical fiction.

Alice succinctly captures her ethos for her position at P&C Global in her signature humorous way: “Being the Director of Enterprise Financial Systems in a company filled with tech wizards is like being the conductor of an orchestra filled with virtuosos. My job is to ensure we are all playing the same tune, at the same tempo, and hitting the high notes together.  We harmonize our expertise to create a symphony of success.”
