Mariette Hendricks

Mariette Hendricks is the Director of Tax and Regulatory Compliance at P&C Global. A Canadian national based in Toronto, Mariette brings a wealth of experience to her role, with over 25 years in corporate taxation and regulatory compliance in globally renowned professional services firms.

At P&C Global, Mariette and her team are accountable for Global Tax Strategy and Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Reporting and Documentation, and liaison with tax authorities and regulators worldwide.

Her career journey includes significant positions within prestigious organizations. At Accenture, she excelled as a Senior Manager in the Tax and Legal Department, overseeing the organization’s tax compliance across several jurisdictions. Mariette subsequently moved to Mercer as the Director of Tax, where she led the firm’s global tax strategies and risk management. Prior to joining P&C Global, she was the Tax & Regulatory Compliance Leader at KPMG, responsible for ensuring the company adhered to evolving tax laws and regulatory standards globally.

Mariette holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Accounting, Juris Doctorate, and Master of Laws (L.L.M.) in Taxation from the University of Toronto. Furthering her education, Mariette also completed the Executive Program in Strategic Business Tax Planning at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

Beyond her professional life, Mariette is an ardent travel enthusiast and a lover of the outdoors. She enjoys backpacking adventures and has explored more than 30 countries, immersing herself in various cultures and cuisines. Additionally, Mariette is a committed community volunteer and spends her free time aiding local food banks and shelters.
